Production Manager (Code: PM)

The incumbent will responsible for plan, direct, and/or coordinate the production of company. It’s also being responsible for formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.

The incumbent should have excellent communication skills in order to control manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.

Primary Responsibilities :
  • Overall management of day to day operations, incorporating production planning, scheduling and turnaround in accordance with customer specifications.
  • In conjunction with the directors and the management team, formulate and implement the short, medium and long term strategy for the company.
  • Develop and implement production targets, control production costs to budgeted limits. Controlled that products are produced on time and are of good quality
  • Working out the human and material resources needed
  • Estimating costs and setting the quality standards
  • Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
  • Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment
  • Controlling product standards and implementing quality-control programmed
  • Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, manager
  • Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
  • Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
  • Supervising and motivating a team of worker
  • Reviewing the performance of subordinates
  • Identifying training needs.
Additional Responsibilities :
  • Involved in both pre-production (Planning) stage as well as production (control and supervision) stage.
  • Ensure that job times are controlled, issued and updated as necessary
  • Manage organizational change in order to optimize working practices and thus ensure a productive workforce
  • Ensure that where applicable, documented quality procedures are adhered to and that ‘owned’ quality procedures are maintained and developed accordingl
  • Maintain good industrial relations and implement disciplinary procedures for staff irregularities when required
  • The Production Manager will have a critical role to play in maximizing operational and production efficiencies, along with supporting the growth of new business, through an active management of existing clients and seeking new business opportunities.
  • Provide technical and problem solving advice regarding materials and production systems and develop and implement improvements in production methods.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor Degree, preferably majoring in Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years experiences in the same role with total up to 10 years with Manufacturing background
  • Proven track record in managing production, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and addressed problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget
  • Ability to create and manage production budget
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; a team player and independent worker
  • Excellence English & Computer literate.
